The nature of waves [videorecording] / NHK Educational Film Segments.

Experiments in this program examine what constitutes a wave, and explores how we see and how we think about the concept of waves. Wave phenomena are observed from various points of view: time waves, space waves, and propagating waves. A pendulum is used to illustrate the properties of a sea wave.
